Within the Group Brand function, the Brand Initiatives team drives brand engagement and impact for UOB through dynamic flagship programmes that showcase the Bank and allow active experience of – and interaction with – the UOB brand.

The Assistant Vice President acts as the primary contact for stakeholders, managing and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for assigned strategic initiatives, as identified for the purposes of achieving the necessary impact.
Job responsibilities:
  • To actively drive end-to-end project management and support on programme planning
  • Manage the project plan / logistics, timeline and agreed deliverables with stakeholders
  • Able to pre-empt project concerns or issues in advance, for effective solutions to be put in place
  • Provide regular communications and progress reports to stakeholders as required
  • Able to facilitate group discussions and follow through necessary implementation steps
  • Able to negotiate best possible outcomes, both for UOB as well as business/ other function or stakeholder outcomes
Job requirements:
  • An independent worker with at least 3 to 5 years’ proven working experience in multi-stakeholder and collaboration programmes/ projects
  • Experience in end-to-end event management is an added bonus
  • Possesses a strong analytical mind
  • Possesses strong negotiation skills and the desire to drive towards positive outcomes/ results
  • Possesses strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to be resourceful in the face of challenges
