Job Description:

We are looking for a suitably qualified candidate to join the Financial Information Management department within Group Finance. You will support the Group’s Financial Reporting and Management Accounting systems. Your specific responsibilities include:
•         Analyze and plan change requests and projects related to Financial Reporting, Management Accounting and MAS Regulatory reporting applications using Hyperion, Oracle Financials and FiRE software
•         Perform regulatory requirements and data analyses, functional solution review, User Acceptance Test (UAT) preparation, UAT execution and production implementation tasks
•         Tasks include supervision of user access and configuration management of the software system to support User Acceptance Tests (UAT)
•         Conduct functional validation of system changes, including data transport from the Data Warehouse to the CFR (Consolidated Financial Reporting), VBM (Value-Based Management) and MAS (FiRE) reporting applications
•         Lead the financial verification of results at the Group level
Job requirements:
•         Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics or related discipline
•         Minimum of 5 years working experience, preferably in the banking/financial services industry and with exposure and participation in at least 1 major project
•         Foundational knowledge of Financial Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards, as well as familiarity with the financial/regulatory reporting process and submission frequency
•         Sound knowledge of banking products, including Loans, Overdrafts, Trade Finance and Treasury instruments
•         Understanding of the process of change management, regulatory changes and the reporting cycles
•         Able to oversee change management, as well as track, manage and escalate issues
•         Experience in conducting UAT, logging errors and documenting test scripts, results and findings
•         Proficiency in SQL scripting, MS Excel functions including Pivot table is a must

Other requirements:
•         Good understanding of Data Architecture, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence subjects
•         Experience with use of analytics tools such as OBIEE and QlikSense is a plus
•         Possess good communication skills, a curious nature and strong ability in problem identification, variance analyses and issue resolution
•         Team player, meticulous and able to work independently and motivate others
