Responsibilities: 
  • Day to day transaction processing on deposit and withdrawal functions.
  • Ensuring that control process such as signature verification, appropriate approval levels and callbacks are properly performed before sending the transactions to Operations by cutoff times.
  • Manage the day to day exception handlings by closely engaging Front Office, Risk Management and Product Management to ensure that they are processed within policy parameters and acceptable risk appetite.
  • Review, re-engineer and implement process changes from Front to Back office with a view to align to industry standards, improve productivity and controls, regulatory changes or as part of the overall IT projects.
  • Provide training to the Front Office and ensure that business operation procedures are properly documented for business continuity purposes.
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Private Bank senior management from time to time
Requirements:
  • Co-ordinating role requiring high degree of communication.
  • Requires great flexibility and versatility – should be able to simultaneously manage several different issues / queries in addition to daily processing related co-ordination.
  • Independent Self Starter able to take charge of the role, initiate reviews, escalate in a timely manner based on independent assessment & analysis.
  • Committed and conscientious personality, to take ownership and responsibility to ensure complete follow-through to problem solving.
