Job Objective: 
  • To develop and support the team’s suite of applications including enterprise contact centre systems (IVR, CTI, CMS, Chat, customized modules), contact recording systems and outbound dialling systems
  • To perform Impact Analysis of Change Requests, coordinate and work with other teams and vendors to estimate effort needed
  • To support and coordinate for team’s quarterly releases of change requests relating to above systems
  • To document technical specifications, programme specifications, deployment approach, test scope and test plan for the team’s suite of applications, where necessary, in collaboration with others within and/or external to the team
  • To support Unified Communication projects
Key Responsibilities:
  • Package and deliver developed software / applications into the Test environments (SIT and UAT) and Production environment – for Change Requests and Projects
  • Support and facilitate the release of application, responsible for all applicable deployment tasks in accordance with Bank’s change management process
  • Utilize software configuration management tool (Aldon, ClearCase/ClearQuest) to check-in code changes to manage change management
  • Work with other deployment engineers (internal and vendor) to ensure integration performs in accordance with specifications.
  • Work with the deployment Lead to identify and resolve ownership and deployment issues
  • Develop scripts to create/load common test data, trigger jobs, e.g. Control M scripts
  • Perform testing of applications
  • Fix/Track any defects and problems discovered during testing
Key Requirements:
Must have
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science/engineering
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in software development and deployment, with at least 2 years working in financial institution(s)
  • Good understanding of, and experience in, Project or Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills
 Good to have
  • Domain expertise and good technology knowledge in the areas of Unified Communication, Contact Centre, Collections, Telesales and banking applications. Skills in Avaya, Verint and OpenText Qfiniti technologies are desirable.
  • Understanding of Agile methods with knowledge of Agile practices (e.g. Automated Build, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Frequent Releases)
 Essential Technical Skill
  • Operating System: UNIX, Windows, Linux
  • Database: Oracle 8.0 and above, MS SQL Server
  • Languages: C, C++, JAVA, Unix Scripting, Perl Script, VoiceXML
  • Tools : Aldon, Confluence, JIRA
