Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage iFS project deliverables and provide “Business As Usual” (BAU) support to Integrated Fraud management team
  • Support GTO, vendor and business units on user query, requirement, testing, training and implementation of UOB projects
  • Analyze system impact due to new requirement / change request.
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Consolidate data and prepare regular management information reports to internal stakeholders and Committees, at Management and Board level
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Support UOBS and subsidiaries in BAU activities, e.g. service query reports and investigation
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Provide info for / assist in Reporting when necessary
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum Degree education, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Banking / Fraud or Risk management experience is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and experience in coding or using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (SAS EG/ SAS EM, Excel etc).
  • Experience with R, Python, Power BI, Cloudera Pig, Hive & Impala and other database query and analysis tools would be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience with reporting, databases, programming or scripting (SQL, XML, Java script, or ETL frameworks)
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques will be ideal
  • Excellent data analytic skills, both qualitatively and quantitatively
  • Good communication and presentation skill – spoken and written
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
