Job Description
This role reports into the Head of PB KYC, in a team that actively supports the client on-boarding process, primarily focused on ensuring the bank’s AML and KYC requirements are fulfilled. This role will partner the SCAs to ensure that clients’ KYC records comply with current regulatory standards, or as dictated by Group Compliance. It is expected that the KYC/Client on-boarding officer will facilitate meeting of client due diligence requirements at the start, i.e. new to bank and periodic review of the relationship.

Job Responsibilities:

- Partner SCAs/ROs to managed and facilitate client due diligence process, both on-boarding and ongoing reviews of KYC
- Play the main contact point for KYC and AML reporting issues for clients
- Act as subject matter expert in the area of KYC and AML, including required legal documentation and processes to onboard client into PB
- Perform quality review of KYCs completed by SCAs/ROs, leading into the relevant sign offs. This will include screenings /searches and for existing high risk client accounts, transaction reviews
- Participate in discussions with Group Compliance on KYC/AML related matters
- Discuss and escalate, ultimately to Group Compliance complex issues on client types, structures and AML – related risks and concerns
- For designated high risks /sensitive clients, including PEPs and significant AUMs, prepare and facilitate, the reviews by PB Senior Management
- Continuous active engagement with SCAs/ROs to share and educate KYC and AML related guidance/learning points, with the objective to improve the standard and quality of KYC and client due diligence across PB
