FVP, Strategic Alliance & Fintech, Group Channels & Digitalization
 
The Strategic Alliance and Fintech team seeks to support the Bank’s initiatives in the new digital environment to:-
  1. grow and capture new customer segments and serve them rapidly via multiple channels & cross-channels to improve customer experience;
  2. increase productivity; and
  3. reduce risk
  4. using digital innovations and innovative solutions.
     
    We are looking for a driven and dynamic individual to join this exciting team.

    Key Responsibilities
    • To engage with Fintechs and the wider eco-system for businesses and to augment UOB’s franchise, with a view to bank them and/or collaborate with them;
    • Seek out and match problems statements with fintech solutions to grow the bank’s business with focus in business and commercial banking franchise;
    • Manage or be a key team member in innovation projects and innovative business initiatives of the bank;
    • Organise fintech and digitalisation events such as Singapore Fintech Festivals;  
    • Conduct research and analytics on fintech developments;
    • Lead and support regional fintech initiatives of the Group;
    • Candidate is required to work closely with business partners internally and externally, as well as with Technology and Transactional Banking teams and internally within teams in Group Channels & Digitalisation 
     
    Requirements
    • 10-12 years of business experience in:-
      • Corporate/Commercial Banking segments; and/or
      • Payments and cash management; and/or
      • Fintech engagements and collaborations
    • Exposure or good knowledge of Fintechs and the wider Digital eco-system
    • Experience managing or running innovation projects (from business user perspective) and managing process changes.
    • Analytical and proficient in usage of data for fact-based decision making.
    • Good understanding of Customer Experience and Usability in a banking environment, especially in SME and Commercial banking segment
    • Team player, adaptable, familiar and willing to working in an agile manner.
    • Regional exposures would be added advantage, especially where it related to cross border projects.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
