Risk management is about identifying and evaluating risks posed by the bank’s activities. It is the process of identifying, measuring or assessing risk and then developing strategies to manage risk. 

We have an opportunity for you to develop a career in the Country Risk Management Team which monitors and manage the Group’s credit portfolio concentration risks.

  • Generate, consolidate and produce portfolio reports for the monitoring and management of country & cross border risks and limits utilization;
  • Liaise with various business units on country & cross border exposures reporting;
  • Perform reconciliation of data between the general ledger and credit risk systems;
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of regular and ad-hoc management and regulatory reports;
  • Participate in ad hoc projects such as UAT testing for systems hubbing and  enhancements;
  • Provide ongoing support to business units, including overseas branches and subsidiaries, on credit risk related issues and queries
  • Update and maintain the static database of bank counterparties
  • A degree in any discipline from a recognized tertiary institution, preferably in business/mathematics/accounting/finance/economics;
  • Possess at least one year relevant working experience in the financial services industry preferably; early career graduates are welcome to apply;
  • Possess strong analytical and quantitative skills and able to process, reconcile and analyze large volume of data;
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to work under tight deadlines and pressure;
  • Good team player with drive, initiative and a passion to develop a career in credit risk management;
  • Proficient in MS Excel and SAS;
  • Good written and spoken communication skills;
  • Knowledge of treasury and financial products will be advantageous;
