Job responsibilities:
 
You will be in the team within the Group Finance responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Finance Reporting Systems in the Bank. The candidate will play a key role in understanding the business objectives, requirements and processes of the various Finance stakeholders, mainly financial accounting, management accounts and regulatory reporting, and collaborate with Technology team providing end to end solutions that ensure users’ needs are optimally met.
 
The key responsibilities are:
 
  • Ensure timely and accurate service delivery in accordance with Service Level Agreement
  • Review and ensure SOPs are updated and comply with procedures 
  • Understand system set up implication due to changes in requirements or new products, and updates the necessary system configuration and procedure
  • Review and ensure operational problems, issues and queries are resolved promptly and satisfactorily
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders and work closely with IT and relevant stakeholders to support the implementation of new system or change requests
  • Identify areas of improvements for implementations
 
Job requirements:
 
  • Degree in Accounting / Finance/ Business or its equivalent professional certificates
  •  2 years working experience in banking industry and conversant with current accounting policies and banking regulations is preferred, especially on Basel Credit Risk
  • Aptitude for system related work, experience in end-user maintenance, requirements gathering, UAT testing and implementation of IT systems
  • Good analytical and presentation skills, possesses drive and initiative
  • Strong team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills
