This is a client facing role which requires you to work both independently and as a team to lead with acquisition of new corporate travel and Meeting, incentive customers. The role requires you to develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue and acquisition targets. As an integral part of the corporate travel team, you will work in tandem with internal teams across UOB Travel and UOB Group to deliver the holistic UOB value.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the sales pipeline and end-to-end sales process from leads generation and qualification to close of sales.
  • Respond to RFPs and develop proposals to meet clients requirements while ensuring internal profitability matrices are met.   
  • Solution selling approach with ability to provide appropriate offerings to meet customers’ needs and aligned with UOB internal teams.
  • Ability to sell in to executive and procurement level.
  • Facilitate and ensure effective on-boarding process in alignment with implementation, servicing and client management teams.
  • Possess strong commercial acumen to assess risk profiles and ensure commercial compliance and policy requirements are met.
 
Requirements:
  • Recognised tertiary education with minimum 3 years of relevant experience (prior experience in a travel/ hospitality industry is a bonus).
  • Good understanding of corporate customers needs and network of contacts
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent relationship building and selling skills
  • Systematic analysis to challenges and good problem solving skills
  • Good knowledge of the travel industry and corporate space.
