The ideal candidate would be a strong team player with proven banking experience, who understands the complexity of banking products/processes markets and has an ability to build strong relationships with our internal and external stakeholders. He/she is a change enabler who is organizational savvy, builds strong networks internally and externally.
 
Main Responsibilities:
 
Learning Initiative Lead (75%)
 
•        Assess relevant training needs for employees and the organization, including assessment methods and measurement systems required
(in consultation with function heads, HR business partners)
  • Manage programs, from rolling out the training calendar to delivering relevant programs to ensure all programs are executed out as planned
(Partnering with Learning and Development team)
  • Support and ensure smooth roll out of the core training program and mandatory programs for all employees across all locations (mainly Singapore)
(Partnering with Learning and Development team)
  • Coordinate with branches and subsidiaries to roll out and maintain standardization across
(Partnering with Learning and Development team across geographies)
  • Conduct reviews/evaluations of all completed training to evaluate changes required in the design of the programs based on the feedback received
(Partnering with Learning and Development team, Subject Matter Experts)
  • Prepare presentations and reports at various stages of projects
  • Manage the Learning budget and keep track project progress
  • Understand business needs and play a significant role in driving the people initiatives aligned to the business strategy and plans
  • Support other development/learning initiatives and programs within GWB
 
Project Management Office (25%)
 
  • Provide support to in coordinating workshops/meetings, preparing materials, agenda and project progress for projects within GWB Transformation office
  • Develop and managing relationships with various and stakeholders within GWB to meet deliverables
  • Driving projects by managing core project tasks and meetings including updates for all stakeholders
  • Managing the expectations of users/stakeholders
 
Knowledge And Skills
 
  • Knowledge of the principals of banking processes/product to help in thinking through and designing suitable content to stakeholder needs in partnership with GWB management and Learning and Development team
(Wholesale banking products, Processes include credit analysis, loan application, client onboarding)
  • Organisational, time management and planning skills
  • High level of proficiency and creativity with Power point, Word & Excel
  • Some travel may be required within ASEAN/HK/China  
  • Strong written and spoken English
