Develop market leading payments solution through Fin-Tech Partnerships & Platforms, integrating with commercial payments capabilities.  Have a deep appreciation of the customer’s journey and understand the payables and receivables processes.  Develop value proposition that will resonate with the customer’s requirements and capable of articulating the value of the solutions to bank customers.
Build best-in-class digital payments proposition for UOB Commercial Solution customers in the following areas: -
  • Ideation and proposition development with Fin-Techs, Commercial Solution Product and Delivery team, Schemes, Bank segments and Customers.
  • Understand new trends, developments and regulations in the cards and wider payments industry, continuously review and adapt solution capabilities to ensure solution stays relevant to customers.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the Fin-Tech Partner’s Capability, Operations and Company Values and to identify the partner and solutions that will bring the greatest value to the bank and its customers.
  • Ensure successful launch of Virtual Payments Solution (VPS)  propositions through working with customer’s cross functional teams, not limited to,  Procurement, Finance, BU owners, IT and Operations and UOB’s internal multi segment teams (GWB, CPP ,Compliance, etc)
 
Key Roles and Responsibilities are:
  • Ideation of new solutions to address customer’s pain points in making/receiving payments.  Ability to co-create solutions and provide customers with insights & best practices to support their various payment processes.
  • Promote Virtual Payment Solutions’ capabilities to senior management within the bank segments, with the aim of building more collaborative efforts amongst the RMs and to incorporate VPS as part of the solution offering to relevant bank customers.
  • Accountable for identifying and acquiring new VPS customers. Manage an effective pipeline and provide regular updates as required by management.
 
 Key Measurable:
  • Achievement of revenue targets and new sales volumes
  • VPS solution development & design
  • Internal & external stakeholders management
  • Build an effective pipeline of Fin-Tech partnerships that will support the evolvement of VPS.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert to Commercial Solution team in targeting virtual payment  solutions
 
Qualities and Skills : 
  • 5 years or more related experience in the payment industry
  • Previous experience in both financial services and technology companies advantageous
  • Have deep appreciation of Procure to Pay and Order to Cash processes.
  • Excellent project management skills and capable of leading complex conversations across functional groups.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes
  • Agile & Adaptable with strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
  • Result oriented and has a strategic view of the end to end process
  • Computer literate, high proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoints and Words and VISIO.
